Dubbed ‘Harness Racing’s Greatest Day’, Hambletonian Day features the Hambletonian Heats & Final and Hambletonian Oaks Final.
The Hambletonian dates back to 1926 and was staged at various venues before settling at Meadowlands in 1981.
Held on the first Saturday in August and worth a cool $1 million, the race is the first event in the Triple Crown of Harness Racing for Trotters and is a hugely thrilling spectacle.
The event has something for all the family, with top class racing, live music, rides and games for children and superb giveaways.
Flat track bikes deliver thrills and spills
One of the most eagerly anticipated events of the season, the Meadowlands Mile delivers thrills and spills in one of America’s most extreme sports.
American Flat Track (AFT) is widely regarded as the pinnacle of dirt track motorcycle racing in the world, with stars like Kenny Roberts and Eddie Lawson etching their names into sporting folklore.
The event, held during September, is the final one in the AFT schedule and delivers heart-stopping wheel-to-wheel action at speeds of up to 130mph.
With plenty of off-track opportunities to get up close to the riders and their bikes, this is a fun day out for all the family.
