Planning the Perfect Family Vacation

June 14, 2022

When planning a family vacation, finding a destination that suits everyone can be challenging. Some family members enjoy exploring the outdoors, while others prefer indoor activities. To help you choose the perfect family vacation, we’ve put together this list of considerations to help make your decision easier.

What’s Your Budget?

When choosing a destination, it’s essential to consider how much money you want to spend on your trip. If you’re looking for an inexpensive option, try renting a cabin in the mountains to sit back and enjoy some online casino games or visit one of the national parks. The great thing about these vacations is that they don’t require much planning; you pack up and go! If you’d like something more luxurious, plan a staycation at one of the top hotels in town!

How Much Time Do You Have?

The length of your vacation will significantly impact where you want to go. If you only have a week or two off from work, you might want a vacation to a far-away land. However, school and other commitments may not permit this from happening. Sit down and speak with everyone and see how much free time each person has.

Involve the Entire Family

When planning a family vacation, choosing a destination that suits the whole family is essential. For example, if you have kids that are old enough to enjoy the outdoors but young enough that they’d also like to spend time with their parents, you might want to consider a cruise. A cruise offers various activities for all ages, including pools and slides for the kids and plenty of adult-only options.

If you have older children who don’t mind being left alone for long periods, you might consider visiting an amusement park or theme park. These destinations are great if you’re looking for fun things that don’t require too much adult supervision.

Make a Plan But Leave Room for Spontaneity

When planning a family vacation, it’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of planning. The best vacations are the ones that allow you to relax and change plans at the last minute. Those are the ones you remember most fondly.

The trick is finding a balance between planning and leaving room for improvisation. First, plan out your trip: book flights (refundable), decide on hotels or rental homes, and make itineraries for each day. Then, as you’re packing your bags or booking flights, leave space for some flexibility if things change (like if your kids want to go on an adventure somewhere unexpected or have a change of heart about where they want to eat).

Conclusion

The things that matter most to a successful family vacation may not seem new; planning, doing fun activities together, defining success for the trip, flexibility, and time management. The difference between failed and excellent vacations are all in the details. Be open and speak with your family. Encourage everyone to provide an opinion and input.

The great thing about these vacations is that they don’t require much planning; you pack up and go! If you’d like something more luxurious, plan a staycation at one of the top hotels in town! To make a budget-friendly decision regarding the accommodation, check out cozycozy and find the cheapest offers to stay.

Things You Should Know Before Travelling To Iran

March 29, 2022

Make sure you don’t believe everything you read or hear about Iran in the media. In a country steeped in old heritage, there is a startling tinge of contemporary flare to discover.

Iran has numerous surprises in store for tourists, such as the climate, which may vary widely depending on the region and time of year, shattering the long-held idea that Iran is nothing more than a large, hot desert. Iran also has a rich cultural heritage, which is worth exploring. While it’s good to be surprised when traveling, it’s also necessary to be as prepared as possible to avoid unpleasant shocks.

Iran may provide a unique travel experience despite its negative reputation, particularly for ancient history and archeology. There is a warm and eagerness to share their land and traditions with guests, those that travel there are bound to come away with a bit more knowledge and understanding of their own country and past.

The Iranian Tourist Visa Application Process is Difficult.

Allow yourself plenty of time and submit your visa application as soon as possible.

If you’re an independent traveler from the United Kingdom, Canada, or the United States, you’ll have to join a guided tour, which is terrible. It is the responsibility of your tour organization to arrange visas for you.

Iran has a permissive approach to the concept of dual nationality. They do not accept dual citizenship formally; however, they acknowledge dual nationals of Iran who are also Iranian citizens.

Take Care Not to Send the Wrong Message

Do not use the ‘thumbs up’ hand signal when communicating with someone who speaks a different language and wants to convey ‘good’ or ‘okay.’ In Iran, this gesture is identical to the rude finger, which is referred to as “up yours.”

Dress Modestly While in Iran

Women should always be prepared by having a simple colored scarf or two on hand to keep their hair covered at all times. Bring a long-sleeved, mid-length jacket to keep your modesty intact when out in public.

Embrace the Iranian Hospitality

In Iran, you will most likely encounter someone on the street whose sole desire is to show you around their nation who will frequently insist on paying for everything and asking you to their home in exchange for nothing. Be open to these encounters since the Iranian people are nothing like what you expect based on what you hear in the news!

Alcohol Is Illegal

It would better help if you kept in mind that importing alcohol into Iran is highly prohibited. As a result, tourists will not take advantage of their duty-free alcohol quota while visiting Iran. Make sure any chocolates you send from overseas, which are usually loved, do not include any alcoholic beverages before you deliver them.

Weekend Is Friday

The weekend in Iran is on Friday because it is the Islamic Republic following Islamic norms and calendar. Certain offices are open until Thursday evening or even until midday on Friday. Likewise, in every country, they have weekends where physical shops will not be operating; this gives the online business advantage, such as online casinos like NetBet.

Iran Has a Strict Dress Code

Women must wear loose-fitting shirts that cover their arms and come down to their mid-thigh or knees. Trousers are an absolute must. A headscarf must be worn over your hair, but your face is permitted to be shown completely unveiled.

Take Away

You are planning to travel to Iran. Consider the facts mentioned above about Iran and do more research; this will prevent you from falling into any problem.

Is Migrating Abroad A Good Decision To Make?

November 22, 2021

It is no secret that moving to a different country has crossed our minds more times than we can count. We are often asked where we would work, when we would leave, do we want to migrate abroad, what is there that we do not have here, and more. But, in most cases, we worry the most about whether we are making the right decision by moving to a different country. With that said, this article aims to help ease your anxiety by letting you know when it is time to move abroad.

Five Questions You Need To Ask To Know If Migrating Is For You

Moving to a different country is a big decision, and you need to make sure you are left with a choice you do not regret. To help you, here are the five questions you need to ask yourself before you pack up and go somewhere else:

What are the effects of moving to a different country?

The most important question you should ask yourself is what will happen once you move to a different country. This includes where you will work, what will happen to your family, and all the necessary adjustments you have to make. It would be best if you also considered factors such as your mental health and how you envision your future. If you see yourself thriving and are okay with the sacrifices made to migrate, you can tell that this is a good decision.

Can I achieve my goals abroad in a realistic sense?

Most often than not, we are filled with unrealistic expectations when we move across countries. We romanticize the idea of migrating that we sometimes forget to consider the negative implications that come with it. When we move abroad, we should also be prepared for the possible failures on the way. With that being said, we must consider the goals that we have set, such as the balance between our working and living conditions and the situation of expenses and opportunities. It is a must that our idea of how we will live aboard is realistic.

Is my reason for migrating short-term or long-term?

There are cases wherein we encounter difficulties and think that migrating to a different country will solve them. When we decide to move abroad, we must think about why we are doing it. Moving to a foreign country is not easy, and our reason for doing so must be strong enough to make us persevere amidst the difficulties. It is a must that you keep in mind that living in a new country comes with tons of challenges such as different laws, partaking in a new culture, interacting with new people, and more.

Who will I be with, and how does that make me feel?

Living in a new country also means that you will be far away from the support system you have come to know, and that can cause a toll on your mental health. When you decide to move abroad, you must think about who you will be with. Whether it is some distant family members or childhood friends, you should consider the support system you will have when you move. You should also think about how you will manage in case you will be completely alone and besides, moving to a new country also means you get to build new friendships and relationships.

How does the country I am moving to make me feel?

The last question you should ask yourself is how you truly feel about the country you are moving to. Did it give you a sense of comfort when you visited, or are you going there solely for the economic opportunities? Does this country make you feel safe or cause you anxiety? You should also consider how you find the culture of the people staying there. It is essential that you have this narrowed down since you will be staying in said country.

Once you have answered these questions and find yourself in a positive sense, then moving to a different country is definitely a good decision to make. In order for you to have a smoother transition, it would be best to hire an expat lawyer.

An immigration lawyer would be able to help you by arranging the necessary legal documents, reviewing your rights, and representing your case to the immigration officers. They would also provide you with expert legal advice to ensure the approval of your application. This is undoubtedly an immigration assistance that you will need for moving abroad.

The best area and places to stay in Corsica

May 3, 2021

Corsica is a dream come true, for those looking to find peace, beauty, sun and sea. There are many different sides to this island to choose from, when you will make the decision of where you would like to stay, during your holiday. In this article, we will help you to discover a few of them, so you can make your choice more easily.

  • How to choose the area where you will stay in Corsica

Without actually being on the ground, in Corsica, it can actually be very difficult to choose one place from another. A suggestion we can make, is for you to look at Corsica villas and find the one you prefer, in order to make that very important decision. After all, your home away from home is the most important element of any trip. With one of the villas, you’ll be able to live in comfort, and enjoy every moment you spend there. You can even cook and share a meal on your terrace, or have (new) friends over for dinner. It is certainly one of the safest ways to choose your destination.

  • Ajaccio

Let’s start with the capital of Corsica. If you are travelling on a budget, Ajaccio is the city where you want to drop your luggage. It is the least expensive city on the island, and there are activities, restaurants and boutiques for everyone. The city is best known for being the cradle of Napoléon, which is why around town, you will discover information about him, via street names, museums and statues. In terms of beaches, look for Plage de Capo di Feno.

  • Porto-Vecchio

If you travel with the whole family, then you should definitely think of staying in or near Porto Vecchio. Located on the south coast of the island, you will have all the amenities you may need, to entertain everyone. Many kids’ activities are offered to keep the younger ones happy and having a good time. Adults will definitely appreciate the exquisite French restaurants and the small boutiques, to do a little shopping. There is no beach in Porto Vecchio, but some of the most gorgeous ones on the island are located nearby. Look for Tamaricciu Beach and Plage de Palombaggia.

  • Bonifacio

Many people, when visiting an island, prefer to stay on the southern side. It is usually the best way to ensure getting a maximum of the sunshine. Bonifacio is located on the south side of the island and features a beautiful marina. If elegance is what you are looking for, you will find it, near the harbor, filled with palm trees and Italian restaurants. There, sit on a terrace and enjoy being away from the metropolitan cities of the world, while drinking a strong espresso. If you want to change décor for a day, take a ferry to Sardinia, and enjoy their beautiful beaches.

  • Corte

If you are looking for something unique, away from the crowd, then Corte is the ideal Corsican location. It will also provide you with the most beautiful views on the island, thanks to its high altitude. Encircled by mountains, you will finally discover the true meaning of the word “freedom.” However, if you are looking to spend a week at the beach, then Corte is not your location, as it is far from the coast.

  • Calvi

If you don’t want to think too much, and you are only looking for a few days of relaxation, while discovering a new environment, then do as most tourists do and stay in Calvi. On the northwestern coast, Calvi offers the largest selection of beaches on the island. There is everything you may need, whether you are looking to shop, eat in various restaurants, visit historic sites or just want to catch some sun while enjoying the Mediterranean Sea.

6 Best Things to See When in Dubai

March 29, 2021

Dubai is known for many things. Aside from being a popular business hub, the “City of Gold” is also recognized for all kinds of scenery that would leave any tourist wanting more.

Excursion packages in Dubai offer a variety of different activities for every occasion. So, whether you’re spending your birthday out of town, commemorating a romantic milestone, or completing your travel bucket list, you’ll find something worthwhile there.

When planning to visit the city, be sure to select activities to include on your itinerary based on the purpose of the trip and your specific interests. For a start, here are the six best things you shouldn’t miss when in Dubai:

Burj Al Arab

Nestled between the Palm Islands and Jumeirah Beach, the Burj Al Arab is a jaw-dropping building that continues to wow people with its architecture. It was opened in 1999 and overlooks the great Arabian Gulf on its own man-made island.

It boasts a curved glass façade reportedly modeled from the sails that have cruised through the Dubai waterways in the past years. Besides being considered one of the world-class luxury hotels in the UAE, it is also deemed as having the world’s tallest atrium and being the highest hotel building in the world at 600 feet.

Besides its architectural prowess, the Burj Al Arab is also famous for amenities as unique as revolving beds and as luxurious as a helipad for those who think arriving on the complimentary Rolls-Royse is too ordinary.

Of course, you don’t need to spend all your fortune staying at the Burj Al Arab to appreciate it. You can also just grab a bite at one of its onsite restaurants, some of which feature huge fish tanks with floor-to-ceiling windows and a scenic vista from the building’s 27th floor.

Palm Jumeirah

If there’s one destination that will always be included in the best Dubai heritage tours, it’s Palm Jumeirah.

As one of Dubai’s impressive “firsts,” Palm Jumeirah is a man-made island built to look like a stylized palm tree when viewed from a seaplane. It was made from a reclaimed landmass and composed of several artificial archipelagos.

Also called “The Palm,” the archipelago boasts ease of mobility with its well-developed tunnels, roads, and public transportation. In fact, you’re less likely to get stressed when hopping from its various restaurants, hotels, and tourist attractions, especially if you travel via the Palm Monorail.

You can also enjoy a cruise on a yacht or speedboat around Palm Jumeirah while basking in the wonderful scenery from the water, or sky diving from above the island for a bucket-list-worthy experience.

Jumeirah Mosque

Towering over the northern part of the Dubai Marina, the Jumeirah Mosque is a sight you can only behold in the city. Outfitted with a highly detailed white façade, this man-made wonder mirrors the medieval Fatimid architectural style. It’s no wonder the place was chosen to grace the 500-dirham note in the country.

Despite being a sacred ground for the Islamic religion, the Jumeirah Mosque allows non-Muslim visitors to bask in the beauty of its ornate décor and feel the solemn ambiance inside it. Just remember to dress modestly when visiting in respect of the Muslim customs and traditions.

Long skirts or pants and long sleeves are ideal. Women must also cover their heads with a scarf when inside the mosque. If you’re dressed differently, they will happily provide the appropriate clothing, which is an entrance requirement to the place.

Even if you’re not the religious type, the Jumeirah Mosque is still worth considering for your trip to Dubai because of its cultural and educational value.

Burj Khalifa

Your trip to Dubai wouldn’t be complete if you weren’t able to see the Burj Khalifa. After all, a visit in the city is your best chance to witness the world’s tallest building.

Rising exactly 2,722 feet above Dubai with its 160 stories, the Burj Khalifa is also where you’ll find the world’s highest outdoor observation deck.

As you ride the elevator to the 124th floor, you’ll get to witness the breathtaking view not only of Dubai but also the entire stretch of the Arabian Gulf. Once you reach your destination, you can use special telescopes provided on-site to see how Dubai was at different points in time.

If you’re willing to pay extra, you can also go higher to the 148th floor where the observation deck is perched.

Although traveler reviews are mixed when it comes to the Burj Khalifa, it remains one of the best places to visit in Dubai. After all, you can’t witness the sun setting from the highest point in the city anywhere else.

If you do decide to reach the top, make sure that you book your visit ahead, as those elevator rides can sell out quickly. Remember to schedule this part of your trip around the sunset, which some travelers deem worth the long elevator trip.

The Dubai Fountain

After you view the city from atop Burj Khalifa, don’t leave just yet because nestled at its base is the stunning Dubai Fountain. After sunset at around 6 p.m., this man-made attraction lights up and erupts into a beautifully choreographed water dance.

This occurs every 30 minutes, so you won’t have to rush down. You can even book a boat tour to watch the show to get the best view of the 6,000 glittering lights and musical geysers while experiencing the sway of the water of the lake yourself.

Dubai Souks

As a trade giant with centuries’ worth of history, Dubai is also known for its “souks” or Arab marketplaces. In fact, it was able to preserve these traditional bazaars located along with the Al Fahidi Historical District on both sides of the creek.

A quick stroll will show you how commerce was like in the past, with products like fabrics, spices, perfumes, and even gold being offered in the streets.

The Gold Souk on the south bank of Deira is particularly famous for adding glitz to the historical place and is considered one of the world-renowned gold jewelry trading centers. It even serves as a channel for around 20 percent of the world’s gold supply.

Of course, there’s much more to see there than gold. You can also find diamond, platinum, and silver items – all of which are guaranteed genuine, thanks to the government’s tight leash on the trading center.

Sights to See, Experiences to Explore

Dubai offers plenty of sights and experiences for tourists to enjoy. Make sure you get the most out of your trip there by adding the items on this list to your itinerary.
